OrchestRAVE
OrchestRAVE celebrates UKF’s 15th anniversary with a special orchestral rendition of bass music, performed by over 40 artists and alumni from Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
Following the success of 2023’s award-winning OrchestRAM, drum & bass music returns to the Hall in the brand new show OrchestRAVE - an epic orchestral journey into the world of bass music and rave culture, elevated by mesmerising stage production.
UKF celebrates 15 years of pioneering drum & bass and dubstep through its trendsetting YouTube channel, electrifying live events, and successful record label.
Guildhall Session Orchestra will be joined by DnB DJ Raiser, percussion & rhythm section and special guests, to perform many of the most loved tracks from the bass music scene, including music from early pioneers such as The Prodigy and trailblazers like Flux Pavilion, Pendulum and Nero, legendary stalwarts like Hybrid Minds, Koven and Camo & Krooked & Mefjus, right through to the current crop, including K Motionz, Goddard and Emily Makis.
The Gig of Glory
The ‘Gig of Glory’ is back with a special 20th anniversary show.
This year the show is in two Acts. Act 1 - for our current and incredibly talented cohort and then Act 2 - the legends that have gone before in glory. We welcome back and resurrect the likes of Mike Asaturov, Jenny Shen and Zaza! We will also see the full glory of Matt Greaves who started the gig with me all that time ago. Matt has always been such a great support and in recent years Dan Pearson has been instrumental (excuse the pun) in taking the gig to the next level - two exceptionally talented musicians and such a privilege to play along side.
The Bauhaus Festival
Students from Electronic and Produced Music present screenings of new audio-visual works inspired by The Bauhaus, recorded by The Bauhaus Band.
Collaborations with Bauhaus-inspired brands Ercol Furniture and Vidal Sassoon form the centrepieces of the evening, which also includes live performances by Bauhaus Saxophones.
Access the free digital programme for this performance here.

SAMSARA: Frameless Immersive Art Experience
SAMSARA is a new residency by Olesea Bortniac, Tao Xie and Shahwali Shayan, supported by the Royal College of Art. I had the opportunity to compose the music for Tao’s side of the project which you can now hear by visiting Frameless at Marble Arch.
